Habanero approved to supply games in City of Buenos Aires

Slots and table games provider Habanero is set to expand further into Argentina after it was certified to supply games by the Lottery of the City of Buenos Aires (LOTBA).

With this LOTBA certification, Habanero will be able to supply its games, such as Return to the Feature, Marvelous Furlongs and Candy Tower, to operators throughout the jurisdiction.

Several Habanero games were already available to play in Argentina through its online operations of land-based casinos.

The expansion is one of several in recent months, which has seen the company expand across Latin America and Europe.

Argentina’s provinces are currently in the process of regulating online gambling on an individual basis.

Licensing criteria for the city of Beunos Aires were set out in February last year, with a view to the market launching in Q4 2020.

Last week, Argentina’s leading gambling body urged operators to adopt .bet.ar domain names in a bid to build confidence in the jurisdiction’s regulated system.
